40 Years of Tradition, Reimagined at Crispy’s Donuts.

For four decades, our little donut shop in Chula Vista has been more than just a place to grab a morning coffee—it’s been a part of the neighborhood. It all started back in 1984 when the original owners, Mao and Julie, began serving this community with warmth and classic, delicious donuts at Crispy’s Donuts.

In May of 2024, I had the incredible honor of taking over this local landmark. My goal was simple: respect the legacy that Mao and Julie built while gently moving Crispy’s into the future. We kept the recipes you love running, but we’ve taken things to the next level.

We’ve expanded the menu to include freshly made croissant and bagel sandwiches, along with a vibrant selection of specialty drinks like rich Vietnamese coffee and refreshing Boba teas. While the flavors have evolved, our commitment to quality and genuine customer service has skyrocketed. We believe that Crispy’s Donuts should feel like a daily bright spot in your routine.

We’re thrilled to share that our efforts have been recognized by the community we love—we recently received the 2025 Best Donuts of the Year award for the Chula Vista area. We can’t wait to serve you!
